Main Bearing Cap, used.  Ford V-8 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948 Flathead.

Main caps are machined in place on the block, and should stay with that block.  If the main caps are lost it is best to find some with minimal offset, then have the block line bored or line honed with the replacement caps to make them ready to use.

To find caps with minimum offset it is nice to have a library of caps to choose from.  We do. 

I suggest getting six for each location.  The ones that you don't need are fully refundable upon return to us in usable condition.
