Used 1938-52 Ford transmission case.   Ford part number 78-7005;  78-7006 casting number, no bottom rib, has offset oil drain back hole. Worn cluster thrust surfaces; clevis type throw out shaft.   Fits 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952 for floor shift; fits Flathead Ford V8 (except 60 hp)  the three speed top loader.  The 78 series case are sturdier than previous cases and the shifter housings will interchange on the 18-7006, 48-7006, and 78-7006. It will usually accept 11" clutch, they will all accept 9" or 10" clutches.
